A corrupted government like this in Sudan should stop harassing people like this. When wearing trousers is a crime for women? I fully support Lubna in her case and the government should not whip her. Not only this but they should apologies for their stupid intention of doing this.

Abyei is for all Sudan
A friend of mine, an artist of cartoons and comics, called me immediately after the arbitration on Abyei and in a joke told me: Saif. It is 1-0 to the North. I laughed of course but the match is not over. It should be 1-1, draw between north and south. Both of us shall win, exactly as the last match between Al-hilal and Almarikh last Saturday. Buy the way we saw the match in the Sudan House of H. E Moses Akol the ambassador of Sudan in Stockholm after a football training in one of the popular parks of Stockholm on the same day.
War should be over in Sudan. We had enough from war. This is time to live together on the beautiful wilderness of Sudan, where southerners and northerners feel free and secure to travel wherever they want without fear and insecurity. Abyei is for all, the whole Sudan. We are not in need of building a concrete wall, as in Israel, to divide the north from the south. Maps coordination does not exist in the minds of the population of Abyei. The only thing they understand is free movement across boarders. This is what they have been doing all time.
Abyei is in the heart of Sudan and for all Sudan

Darfur: Justice will never come through ICC
(Down below is part of a discussion on the sudanese discussion list)
Dear Friends
Peace never come with warrants from the ICC. At least that was not either proven by our recent history since the inception of the ICC, not even in former Yugoslavia. It only comes after a comprehensive reconciliation and true genuine peace initiatives. If you really believe that peace will land in Darfur if Beshir land in the Tirbunal in Haug, then you’re wrongSince its inception in July 2002 it has indicted only Africans (see the list below). Don't expect that the ICC will issue a warrant on Levini, Ihud Barak and other Israli criminals,,
I think more warrants will follow and the rebels have to find some names to be presented to the court in reward for Omar Elbashir. I can also sure you that there are at least 20 names on the black list of the ICC from other countries waiting for thier tour to come,,
Taylor and Milosevic were not at power when they handed over to the ICC. And here is the dilemma. There are countries who are not members of the ICC and see the issue as a violation of their sovereignty and integrity. There are countries that see the issue as a violation to their own judicial system. Sudan is holding African countries together in this issue and that was apparent during the last AU meeting in Addis Abeba.
A friend of mine said that justice should not be selective. And I say: Justice has no colour, no senses but only a blind justice I know. This is what I’m also working for: A just world and solidarity with the poor and weak. I really don’t care about Omar Elbashir as a person or a leader, but I do care about a nation and all those innocent people who lost their lives in every spot in Sudan, the recent was in Malakal. For that matter I’m ready to contribute with you to help anyone from the victims to testify anywhere there is justice. But it is not in the Hague.
Do you deny the massacre of the Israelis against the Palestinians? Don’t you think that even justice is need there as well as in Darfur?
Even leaders who came to power through democratic elections should not have impunity against justice. George W. Bush has to be indicted by the ICC for a massacre of 650000 Iraqis and 300000 Afghanis. Yesterday 7 shops were burned in a suburb of Stockholm known Sodertalje by a group known Global Intifada. Their demand was boycott of the American products because of 650000 Iraqis has lost their lives because of the American invasion to Iraq. Although I don’t support such an act, but it shows how justice is tilted and I only want justice.

The threats to Southern Sudan are coming from South of the South
In Fact the so called The Christian Science Monitor would like to see a continued bloody conflict between the “Muslims” of the “North” and the “Christians” of the “South” in Sudan. In an article published today in their website by someone called Heba Ali, they believe that both north and south are preparing for war. Their evidence for that is the captured shipment on the off-shores of Puntland and an alleged shipment through Juba airport through Ethiopia. Read the whole article at:
http://www.csmonitor.com/2008/1112/p06s02-woaf.html
Let us first of all agree about the right of Southern Sudan to protect itself whether from “Arab Muslims” or any “fanatical religious” threat including Christianity. In fact the south has to protect itself from the threats coming from South of Southern Sudan rather from the Arabs of the North.
The scenario of Laurent Nkunda in Eastern Congo could possibly take place in Southern Sudan. And it can come from a Christian rebel like the “Lord” Resistance Army or any Tutsi rebel with support from The Ugandan Tutsi-supporter Museveni. I have been told by sources in the government of Southern Sudan that Ugandans are on their way to dominate in Juba, the capital of the south. The mineral resources, including oil can well attract many rebels to take their share from the wealth of Southern Sudan through arms including “tanks” from Ukraine and Russia. Idi Amin has once invaded Tanzania and there is no guarantee that even Museveni or Koni repeat the same, but this time by invading southern Sudan instead. Debi in N’djamena has already tried several times by proxy or by himself. Let us not take the scenario of a conflict between southerners themselves now and only hope that southerners have learned allot from killing and they will never go back to tribal conflicts.
There are many who would love to see Sudan in flames of war specially a long the lines of religion and race. An excellent example is Christian Science Monitor and the so called International Crisis Group (ICG).
best regards

Döden i Somalia
