Sudan och fiaskot i Köpenhamn

I sin egenskap som ordförande för G-77 länder i KOP15 så bär Sudan på en del av ansvaret i misslyckandet av förhandlingarna i klimatmötet. Frågan som jag ställer här: Bryr Sudan verkligen sig om klimatet? Vad sudaneser har gjort i sitt eget land för att förbättra klimatet? Vad är det som gör att Sudan har valts som ordförande för gruppen? Var det för de satsningarna som Sudan gör i frågan (Sudan gör inget? Eller de egenskaperna hos ordföranden som för mig var en doldis som jag aldrig sett eller hört tala om klimatförbättringar i Sudan?
Miljöförstörelse och utsläpp är stort i Sudan. Att man vill förhindra ett avtal i Köpenhamn som binder alla länder i egenintresse kommer inte att hjälpa Sudan på långsikt. Vi alla är på samma båt och utsläppen i China eller Island påverka oss alla.

Här är flera exempel på miljöförstörelse i Sudan:

1- Utsläpp från de flesta textilfabriker i Gezira regionen går antingen direkt i den blå Nilen eller till grundvatten.
2- Det finngen ingen system hantering av hushållsavfall som dumpas utanför varje stad.
3- Det finns ingen statistik över antal fordon i Sudan. Men i Khartoum som så är det fruktansvärd med utsläpp från biltrafiken.
4- Man har fälld träd i de torra och fattiga Savannah för att leverera träkol för de växande städerna utan att replantera dessa träd.
5- Inga fungerande avloppssystem med följden av att flera dör i olika och ovanliga sjukdomar.

Kan Sudan göra något åt dessa problem för att bidra till en bättre klimat innan man talar för andra.

Somalias islamister syn på det humanitära stödet utifrån!!

Nedan är ett brev som skickades i slutet av november av Somalias islamister, Al-shabab, till de internationella biståndsorganisationerna i regionerna Bay och Bakool i Södra och centrala Somalia. Brevet visar tidligt på den trånga synen som islamisterna har om det internationella humanitära stödet till de behövande i Somalia. Jag bara undrar vad är egentligen ett islamiskt code of conduct som de internationella organisationerna skall följa, när islamisterna själv bryter mot dessa koder?

We are notifying all agencies that operate in Bay and Bakool, that the security of the two regions are 100% ok with the will of Allah.
In regard to this, Bay and Bakool Islamic administration is hereby granting agencies access after they fulfill the following conditions.

Conditions
Conditions that agencies need to fulfill are:
Agencies have to liaise with the office of the humanitarian sector of the administration for all projects they are intending to implement, in order to channel the assistance to the appropriate/needy locations.
The agency has to increase developmental operations/activities, it has to do something on the economic infrastructures in Bay and Bakool i.e. building or rehabilitating the poor roads, bridges, environmental sanitations and constructions of educational facilities while collaborating with the Islamic administration.
The agency has to distance itself from all aspects that can affect Islamic fundamentals i.e. (a) spreading Christianity (b) encouraging secularism, democracy and unfaithfulness.
Agencies have to distance themselves from all things that are against the good manners of Islamic religion/Teaching: (a) importating and drinking wines (b) encouraging prostitutions and encouraging women groups/organizations (c) bringing any type of movies/films (d) holding/observing programmes like New Year Eve or observing days like HIV/AIDS day, World Women Day, Teachers day and all those thing that can facilitate the integration of male and female.
Agencies have to substitute female workers to men for the positions they are holding at the moment, women are not allowed to work with agencies, and they are only allowed to work in the hospitals, MCHs and health centers. Female workers have to be substituted with men in three months time.
Agencies cannot communicate with anyone who is not part of the Islamic administrations of Bay and Bakool and cannot share the information between the agency and the administration to a third party.
The agency should distance itself from any thing that can lead to destabilizations/conflict. I.e. (a) creating conflict between the communities and the administration (b) creating conflict between clans and all sectors of the communities. (c) Encouraging money inflation.
Agencies should not deliver food at the time of harvesting period, if the agencies mandate is food delivery.
Agencies should not show up flags or emblems as they do now in their respective compounds or vehicles, flags or emblems that are currently in the compounds or on vehicles have to be removed immediately.
Agencies should not host another agency in its compound or premises, at any given time each agency should have their own premises for themselves and their staff only.
The agency (UNOCHA) has to pay money amounting to $ 30,000 (thirty thousand US dollar) every six months, the money will be used for security of Bay and Bakool and registration, the money has to be paid in a month time starting from 04/11/09 and it will end 04/12/09.

Somalia lever i en avlägsnad tid

Somalia lever i en avlägsnad tid, en tidsrum där barbarism anarki och laglöshet råder. Igår stenades en man till döds av blodtörstiga islamister som söker makt och pengar genom att hota befolkningen i Somalia. De drömmer om att bo i fina villor med vaktar och bilar precis som i Saudiarabien eller i Sudan. De vill kunna tro att det råder rättvisa i samhället medan de har lyxigt liv. De vill flyga på en privat jet till en shopping runda i London klädda i kostym men så fort är man tillbaka vill vara de klädda i turban. De vill ha åtta fruar, fyra enligt Sharia lagen och fyra som redan slussats ut genom sharia lagen.

Somalias Islamister vet inget om vad som är haram och halal

Konflikten i Somalia mellan olika islamister har inget att göra med Islam. Det handlar enbart om makt och kontroll av de laglösa hamnar i landet och ett sätt att tjäna pengar. Detta kan ses tydligt i konflikten mellan Hisbul Islamiya och al Shabab i Haleiwa district i helgen där Hibul Islamiya har kidnappat en av alshabab ledare och dödade en annan. Det är mycket kännbart inom islam att det är haram för en muslim att döda en muslim. Men det gör alla som kallar sig islamister i landet idag. Man är inte efter Sharia utan efter pengar och makt,,

Sudan's defiant trouser woman

A corrupted government like this in Sudan should stop harassing people like this. When wearing trousers is a crime for women? I fully support Lubna in her case and the government should not whip her. Not only this but they should apologies for their stupid intention of doing this.

Abyei is for all Sudan

A friend of mine, an artist of cartoons and comics, called me immediately after the arbitration on Abyei and in a joke told me: Saif. It is 1-0 to the North. I laughed of course but the match is not over. It should be 1-1, draw between north and south. Both of us shall win, exactly as the last match between Al-hilal and Almarikh last Saturday. Buy the way we saw the match in the Sudan House of H. E Moses Akol the ambassador of Sudan in Stockholm after a football training in one of the popular parks of Stockholm on the same day.

War should be over in Sudan. We had enough from war. This is time to live together on the beautiful wilderness of Sudan, where southerners and northerners feel free and secure to travel wherever they want without fear and insecurity. Abyei is for all, the whole Sudan. We are not in need of building a concrete wall, as in Israel, to divide the north from the south. Maps coordination does not exist in the minds of the population of Abyei. The only thing they understand is free movement across boarders. This is what they have been doing all time.

ICC har försvårat en lösning i Darfur

ICC har försvårat en fredlig lösning till konflikten i Darfur. Beslutet för en arrestorder mot Omar Albashir saknar inte bara bevis och grunder men den även fel timat. Medan det pågår lokal genuina lokala och regionala initiativ i Sudan, Qatar, Chad och AU kom beslutet som ett bakslag till alla dessa ansträngningar för att lösa konflikten.
